BACKGROUND: agony.
INCENTIVE/FIT: After the Cuban Missile Crisis and losing the bulk of his family to political/philosophical differences, Charles is more concerned with protecting mutantkind, and he’s eager to jump at a solution to the problem of coexistence with humanity that doesn’t involve violence. He’s come to Eudio in the hopes of bypassing a war between humans and mutants altogether.

While the accident that put him in the chair and the loss of a good part of his surrogate family has made Charles considerably more reserved than he once was, physical intimacy seems like a small price to pay if he can do anything to non-violently preserve the safety of both humans and mutants alike.
